The Board provides quick redress 90 days to resolve the conflict, the charges are relatively fair, the Board is flexible; it can hold the hearing at a convenient place to the complaint.

Any person who is aggrieved by-

• A refusal to grant an approval;
• The imposition of any conditions on an approval
• The revocation, suspension or variation of an approval;
• A refusal to treat an application as confidential
• A decision of a biosafety inspector
• Any other decision of the Authority under this Act,

May appeal to the Appeals Board within thirty days of being notified of the relevant decision of the national Biosafety Authority

The Appeals Board shall communicate its final decision to the appellant within ninety (90) days from the date the appeal was filled.

5)The appeal can be lodged both physically and online. Step 1 visit the website and download BSAB 1 afterwards fill and submit it to Biosafety Appeals Board through any courier or hand delivery to Utalii House 9th Floor Room 935 or visit the website on the appeals tab, fill in the details and upload a filled copy of BSAB 1 Form.

The appellant has the right to appeal to the High Court of Kenya.
